Getting Started with Windows Azure

Cloud computing is a hot technology that is likely to transform the software industry. Over the past few months Bill Zack has shared with our community the vision for Windows Azure, Microsoft’s cloud computing platform which was announced at the Microsoft PDC in October. This session will take the next step and cover what is necessary to get started and develop your first Windows Azure application.
Outline:
- Brief overview of Windows Azure for those who’ve missed Bill’s presentations.
- Developing and deploying Hello, World for the Cloud
- Migrating an existing ASP.NET MVC application to Windows Azure
