ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 include several new features that make it easier to create efficient, maintainable Web sites. You'll learn how to use such features as Master Pages and the Membership API to quickly create a site infrastructure, and SQL Server 2005's native XML support to easily save and retrieve rich content objects. Not ready to move to bleeding-edge, unreleased products? I'll show you how to emulate these features in ASP.NET 1.x. You'll walk away with code for a basic content management system you can use as-is, or customize as you wish.
